What were the problems: Finding proper toy forms and subjects that can be used in entertaining ways while fitting into an office environment.

My Answer: The desktop warrior is a line of office toys that appear as various warriors throughout history. These toys provide visual entertainment and allow for co-workers to start engageing conversations. Each toy uses pencils. pens, and paperclips as their weapons, giving them a duel use as toy and office equipment holder.

The scope: Create a new and entriguing medical device that is constructed from Eastmen Chemical plastics.

What were the problems: Innovating existing devices in ways not readily accepted by current markets.

My Answer: The Eastman safety syringe is a recyclable home use syringe, meant for regular allergy injections. Not only is the form more pleasent and needle smaller than the average syringe, but the anti-puncture caseing around the needle desensitizes the injection area while protecting others from accidental injection after the initial use.

The scope: To create a protective case for the Nintendo Wii.

What were the problems: Maintaining the Wii’s design and beauty while keeping it safe.

My Answer: The Nintendo Wiisdom is a carrying and storage case that mimics the Wii’s soft and fun design language. There is ample space for the system, the system cords, games and four controllers. An owner of the Nintendo Wiisdom can be asured that their gaming system is secure, whether it is being used, carried next door, or across the city.

The scope: Produce an innovative exercise shoe for casual runners.

What were the problems: Finding out how to positively affect the target users with the product, while remaining safe. Exercise can be dangerous!

My Answer: The Longstrider, strength training running shoe allows the casual runner to experiece the workout of a professional. By mimicing the natural human running form, the shoe redirects the pressures of the run to the muscles that need it most. This muscle focus will cause increased growth while reducing the risk of injury.

The scope: To create a portable seating unit.

What were the problems: Designing something enticing and attractive among a sea of status quo.
