What were the problems: Facilitating the purchase of desired products while not beating the user over the head with consumerism.

My Answer: MyWish List! is a Facebook appliaction that uses a simple and elegant interface to let users know what other users would like to be gifted. Whether you want a hug or a car, there are options that let users search for the listed items from various stores and then claim that those items are purchased.

The scope: To design a product or software that assists in the studying of art history, with an emphasis on successful test taking

What were the problems: creating an information bridge that would turn short term information retention into long term memory retention. My Answer: Studious is an art history studying software that allows the user to input their personal feelings and impressions of artwork. The user can then be tested by their own inputs. By creating this personal connection with the work, the user is then pre-disposed to retain the information as long term, rather than short term memory.
